I hired J & J Painting and Carpentry to sand my house down properly and repaint it. Jack was professional, his quote was reasonable and he was the only one who really pitched to do the job right by sanding the wood shingles down to the base. His crew did a great job and our house looks beautiful. We have had so many neighbors stop by to comment on the paint job and they were all pleased with the time and effort Jack and his crew put into our house. 2 of them plan on hiring him for their jobs. We were so happy that we had him come back and replace 2 doors and 3 windows and finally we decide to have him patch, paint and seal the flooring of our garage. It looks fabulous! I am very pleased with all the work they did and would highly recommend them for any carpentry or painting job.

I hired J & J Painting recently to renovate the condo I just bought on the Cape. Jack is the best contractor I have ever hired. He not only got the job done on time - we for sure have lots horror stories about how the renovation projects can drag on and on - but he did a very professional job.



I now have a new floor, a new bathroom, a coat of new paint, everything is new or look new thanks to Jack and his crew's excellent job.

J & J were fast, reliable and professional on three separate paint jobs for me and my Mom. I will use them again and highly recommend them to others.

J&J Painting is excellent and I highly recommend them!!! From the very first contact, I was impressed by Jack Brockway's professionalism. He returned my phone call, showed up when scheduled, gave me a thorough and detailed estimate and his prices were extremely reasonable. I also cannot say enough about the FANTASTIC job he did on our cottage - it looks better than it ever has!!! Jack did carpentry and painting for us and kept us informed all along the way. The workmanship was superb - we couldn't have dreamed that the cottage would look so great!!!! We can't wait for summer so that we can go and spend time at our "brand new" summer cottage!!! I highly recommend J&J Painting and Carpentry. We hired Jack to do a simple exterior house paint job. He gave us a great estimate and was in and out in no time, with an exceptional quality of work. He ran into a few problems with rotted wood, but before doing any work, he would call to get our ok to continue. Any carpentry or painting need we have again, we will be calling Jack! He is also very creative and is good at suggesting colors and ideas.
