The Hope Center is a nonprofit agency that provides services to the homeless people in Kentucky. The agency provides food, shelter, clothing, substance abuse recovery and diagnosis services. It also offers treatment for mental illnesses, employment counseling, and housing support and transitional housing services. The Hope Center s social services program assists clients with housing, health care, transportation, finances, nutrition, therapeutic counseling and outreach services. Its Hispanic Program provides a variety of services to Spanish-speaking clients, including assistance in finding jobs and appropriate social services; assistance with immigration issues; referral to other community resources; general counseling regarding personal, social, legal and cultural challenges; and classes in English as a second language. The Hope Center is based in Lexington, Ky.
