Holden Roofing is by far the worst roofing contractor I have ever seen in Texas. Being a General Contractor myself I often have to subcontract out to roofing companies. I have probably used three or four dozen different roofing companies through out my career, and Holden is by FAR the Worst. I made the mistake of paying them to put a roof on my mothers house after hurricane Ike had hit. They ended up having to replace the entire roof three times before getting it right. The first time they didn't place the fabric / black moisture barrier down under the shingles everywhere, so when I saw this I made them rip the entire roof back off and replace it. The second time they replaced it, it had looked like someone had stuck an air hose under the shingles and inflated them, this wasn't right so they agreed to replace the roof again. Get this, when they put the third roof on they ran the fabric vertical from top of roof down to the bottom, when it was supposed to run horizontally. When I saw this they again had to rip the roofing back off. They finally got it half way right, but now almost a year into my thirty year roof I am already starting to lose shingles. The bottom line is that if you wan't a halfway decent roof DO NOT USE Holden Roofing, and definately do not use Jonathen Sledge who is one of their sales man. If it were my company a person like him would have been fired the second time that he had to replace a roof for free.
