Associations

A native of Sweden, Perry exemplifies the ideal of the American melting pot. Seeking to deepen his understanding of jazz, he migrated to Florida to study jazz at FAU. In the process of completing his BFA in jazz studies, the guitarist refined his skills in performances with such jazz and entertainment greats as Maynard Ferguson, Billy Eckstein, Jack Jones, Robert Goulet, Steve Allen, Bob Hope and Sid Ceasar. He has also performed at functions for Governor Jeb Bush and President Bill Clinton at Congressman Peter Deutsch's election campaign. Perry performs not only solo guitar, but also plays in groups ranging in size from duos to big bands.
