My central air was not working, and it was very hot. I got Edward's H&C out of the yellow apges and chose them because they advertise a $69 fee for coming out to give you an assessment, which was cheaper than other companies. The technician was scheduled to come beteween 11am and 1:30pm, but did not show up until 3:30pm, after I had called several times. It was a Friday, and he seemed like he was in a hurry from the get go. He really didn't do much. He didn't look inside the AC unit, and barely glanced in the basement. He decided to change the filter, which my husband had just done a month prior, and put new insulation on the pipe to the unit. He told me to let it run for a few days to see if it cooled down, and gave me a bill for $138. The bill included a $20 trip charge that was, also, never mentioned. I called a different company that took a much different approach, and actually found the problem and were able to fix it the same day. Unbelievable. Edward's H&C is not worth your time, trust me.
