I finally have heat again! I should have called them a long time ago, but when I finally decided to bite the bullet they answered right away, showed up in an hour, diagnosed the problem and then left to get the part and came back and fixed it all up. In addition to what it needed they gave me a discount on an added procedure and cleaned everything up and checked the boiler the whole way over to make sure there wouldn't be followup problems. In addition he went through each part of the boiler and explained what things did so I would know what to expect if another piece broke or signs I could look for. Fast, courteous, and I have heat again. I'm a fan.

I live in the financial district in Boston and had a company install a very elaborate heating system. I had called seven plumbers prior to this company and none had ever heard of such a system. Being ranked as among the top companies, I had decided to go with Doctor Plumber. I had called them at 7:30 on a saturday morning and had two techs come out to my home within an hour. The gentlemen diagnosed the situation and conducted a search on his phone to find a distributor that would have the part needed to repair my heating system. They surprised me at the fact of there willingness and eager attitude to repair the unit, so I decided to go ahead with this company. I paid the repair man for the service that day. Three days later, my water heater malfunctioned. Its a power vented unit. He didn't charge to come back out and reset the button. I was quite humbled at the fact that this gentlemen decided to take time out of his day to come and check my system. There isn't many companies that have such courtious and respectful workers like of Doctor Plumbers. I later decided to send them a check in the mail for their services. I highly reccomend this company in regards to repairs, service, and courtesy.

I needed a heating repair company to repair our heating unit because it was making a really loud banging noise , my brother used Doctor Plumber in the past and said they were really honest guys so we called them to come take a look and the Plumber was very knowledgeable when we asked him about the repair they were able to pinpoint the problem within twenty five minutes some parts were changed on it that had to do with the circulator and control but all in all we were very pleased with the service technician for fixing the unit within a couple of hours the price was good also .Thank you for your honesty Dr.Patel

My Sister uses Doctor Plumber for her apartment building and I recently needed a good heating company because I had one of those high efficiency boilers put in at on of my rentals so it happened the heat stopped working and my renter calls on saturday to say the news so I called my sister in Medfield and asked her who her plumber was because she owns about thirty properties now so i figured she must have a good plumber she gave me the number to Doctor Plumber who specializes on these types of boilers when i called I was delighted to hear a voice instead of a recorder , I spoke with someone in their office and they were able to come out same day i called . After these men were finished repairing my heating system I looked at them and guys you dont know how many times i have had the other plumbers at my house to fix the same problem ongoing they were able to pinpoint the problem because the other plumbers i had never fixed it right to begin with I had some sticky zone valves repalaced and a circulator pump replaced and the problem has not come back because we fired up the boiler this year and no problems since they were here a year ago . Burst pipe in my basement,water all over the place......A nightmare.I called 3 different companies all of which didnt help me at all.I called dr.plumber and they immediately directed me right over the phone on how to locate my water main and how to shut it off.They sent a plumber over to me the same day.After locating the burst pipe they pumped the water out of my basement and replaced the broken pipe.And gave me a more than fair price for the service.I really appreciated there genuine concern for my dilemna.Their quick response time.I know i can count on this company from now on.Thank you!...............The Connors.

Great customer service.I needed a maintenace on my boiler so I called Dr.Plumber.They were prompt and personable.I didnt feel rushed or pressured.They told me what needed to be done and even gave me some options which was greatly appreciated.I've dealt with plumbers before and never understand what they are saying.These guys were clear and concise.And by the time they were done explaining everything I felt at ease and was able to make an educated decision.They did a great job and will call them again without a doubt.

These guys were great.Very professional,neat,and sharp.My a/c gave out on me and I explained to them over the phone exactly what it was doing.They transferred me directly to the technician that was coming out to me at which point he scheduled me right in.Once he got here it took him 15min to figure out the problem.He went over the diagnosis with me and I gave him the go to fix it.The bill was very neat and itemized and showed all the discounts.Great experience all together.Thank You Guys!

I needed a general maintenance on my central air unit last week.I had used Dr.Plumber last year and they gave me a great price.They were honest and went over their diagnosis with me to let me know exactly what they were doing before they started.They were polite and well trained.I've had other companies come out to my house before and they just didnt seem to really care.Dr.plumbers techs were courteous and polite right from the start.Nowadays good customer service,unfortunately, is a rarity.I definitely would recommend this company.

I'd just like to start out by commending Dr.Plumber for their speedy response time and tenacious devotion to my Emergency.I woke up Monday morning to find that my hot water wasnt working.Naturally I went down to my basement to check on my water heater,and found 6" of water in my Basement!I called Dr.Plumber and they had their plumbers out to my house within the hour.They found that my sump pump was burnt out,and quickly pumped out all the water in my basement.Unfortunately my water heater was no good and had to be be replaced.To my relief,they took my situation into consideration and gave me an excellent price for all the services provided.I just wanted to take the time to thank your company for everything that was done for me and my family.Between the fast response time,great service,and excellent price I would recommend Dr.Plumber to anyone who has a need for a for a fair and dilligent plumbing company.Thank you

I heard water running in the basement so I started to panic I was online and decided to use yellowpages I saw this company offering 20% off any work so when I called them they said they could send someone in about forty minutes which was great mostly people couldn't get to me till next day , they sent over a couple of guys who immediately started to shut down the appliance ,after they quoted me the price and could pump out the water that had flooded the basement to change the water heater they were very courteous workers who really were not there to sell they were so helpful at cleaning the mess up I thought I should use a vacuum for the basement they used a pump and in thirty mins had it all under control so if the owner reads this review I want to thank his guys for the fantastic job i can sleep at night knowing the water heater is all set and they didn't even try to look and sell any thing more which I thought was nice . :)

I had several companies come out to look at my furnace which wasn't firing up.All told me that my furnace was irreparable and needed to be replaced.It wasn't even that old. Dr.Plumber came out, diagnosed my furnace,and told me that not only could they repair my furnace but they could get it up and running that same day.I was especially impressed by their knowledge.They explained in detail exactly what was wrong with my heating system.And what they needed to do in order to repair it.They also gave me a quick lesson on what to do to make sure my furnace was in working order and how to check and change my filters.They were very patient and courteous.All in all very Professional.Thank You

It was about three degrees last week and our house got down to 44 degrees in the house and I have two children . I called Doctor Plumber they showed up in an hour during a snow storm they were able to tell what was wrong in about twenty minutes while they were there I noticed the techs were very knowledgeable while they preformed there diagnosis they had some of these issues before with the type of boiler I had and were able to locate the parts at their central distribution parts warehouse for that's all we needed because these guys had a few customers calling while they were fixing my unit and they were going to be late to their next calls I was happy to see their dedication to our problem before it got abandoned and they certainly got our applause when they went to our kitchen we were trying to eat breakfast they said the heat is now working we were thanking these guys in our prayers our family is very thankful for their dedication due to the first company we called who tried to sell us a new boiler on one of the coldest days in winter thanks again

Monday morning my boiler just gave out on me.I had used Dr.Plumber over the summer for some plumbing in my basement and was satisfied with their services and their pricing.So I called them and had them come back to take a look at my boiler.Over the phone the Plumber was very courteous and helpful.And took note of my sense of urgency by sending out help for me immediately,which was great because I still had to make it to work.They were able to pinpoint the problem,track down the part,and install everything within a few hours.Definitely a reliable Emergency service.Personable customer service,and great efficiency.Thank You

I have had three companies come out and all said the same thing its too much work to fix it for the same price we can install a new one . I wanted to try Doctor Plumber just to see his quote to be honest I was ready to buy a new unit when the techs from Doctor Plumber came by they spent about half hour diagnosing the problem turns out that the blower motor was gone and a few parts inside needed some replacing so they quoted me about 1300.00 and i thought wow i had three companies quote four to five thousand in repairs that it would be better to install a new unit . These guys were very good and alot of the times you dont know who to trust ,these guys are now my go to guys for all of my work thank you for your honest work and great techs you sent over .

I own a few Dunkin Donuts in some cases I have had to use a few different plumbing contactors , I had the heat down in three of my stores last week simultameously and needed some heating repairs done I saw Doctor Plumber online and decided to give them a call . The plumber I spoke with over the phone awared me that they have a few store branches that open for this company for $125 emergency open well I had three stores with no heat and needed parts so during the holidays these guys came to my stores and worked to get it done in about eight hours on new years they got my stores heat back on the parts were a couple of gas valves and blower motors which I had other company's try to sell a brand new system Doctor Plumber stayed persistant to fix these systems I made a good change to use this company if I need more repairs done I know who to call to restore a furnace . My price for all the work was a few thousand better than the thirty thousand dollar quotes we got from other local company's . :)

I rent a few condos out and my tenants called me Friday at 6:00 at night to tell me they have no hot water i was able to get Doctor Plumber lucky for me he was able to get right out to my tenant i was able to meet with him since this seemed like a big deal so they showed up at 6:45 with a big problem ahead of them so i thought where will we be able to get a hot water tank at that time well the plumbers that were there actually have a plumbing supply store that opens for them 24hrs for me i was very happy to choose a water heater that was of a professional choice and not from Home Depot , these guys did a great job with everything from the time i spoke to them over the phone till they left the property thanks for coming out at that time .

I had a very irritating and persistent problem with my shower valve.When I turned it to the hot setting no hot water would come out.The plumber that i've used for many years said that the valve itself was fine but just couldn't understand why it wouldn't disperse hot water.He tried to fix it with no success.I called two other plumbers and no one could figure out this enigma.I was going to throw in the towel on this one but decided to try another plumbing company.I called Dr.Plumber and had them come out and diagnose the shower valve.They seemed just as irritated.But they didn't give up so easily,like the others did.I was starting to get nervous because I was afraid that the prolonged troubleshooting would cost me too much money.They must have noticed my nervous disposition and assured me that if they couldn't fix the problem there was no charge.After about an hour and a half they finally figured it out.Something was lodged in the valve itself that wouldnt allow the hot water to pass through.They were able to dislodge the debris and get my valve into working order!And a phenomenal price to boot.I was very impressed by there persistence and efficiency.Where the other plumbers gave up,they just wouldn't.Dr.plumber is what customer service is all about.True leaders in their industry.Thank You!.......Lieberman Family.

I own a dentist office in Boston ma in some cases we have had to use other plumbing companies in the past and some of these plumbers just haven't got a clue when it comes to service . I had three companies tell me we needed a new Backflow device because it was dripping water so i had Doctor Plumber Come out and take a look at it . These guys were right on the ball they knew what was wrong within minutes . They installed a repair kit and were very efficient all in all i would call them again when it comes to service and repair they pulled their own weight and got the job done .
