We hired Chrystal Pools 3 weeks ago- the first visit was to be a meet and greet with the guy who would be servicing our pool- he looked over the pool- set a price per month and as a curtesy took 5 minutes and took a little dirt off the bottom of the pool- the first full visit was while we were out of town, but the second full visit was on the day we returned. We returned to our house withy the water level 1-2 feet below the skimmer! I called immediately to find out why and to ask if he had been here, as the pool was not clean. We were told this was normal- backwash to waste and he had left a note on the door telling is to re-add water to normal level. I have had pools over 15 years and have never had this as 'normal'!! The pool after maintenance visits should look user ready, not me doing the work we paid for. Backwash to waste with a timer on the pump and no water leaves the pump to run without water and will burn it up or worse! We were told that is how it was to be and we decided to part ways, find a new service provider. Two invoices were mailed, both almost 200 dollars- we contacted the company to discuss the charges, and were told we were being charged for 3 visits not two and this was to be the charge no mater what. I had to spend 5 hours refilling, countless dollars on water, chemicals, a repair charge for the 2 leaks that started due to these two visits, but am being charged 153.00 no mater the lack of professional service we received in two short weeks.
