Buyer beware! Do your homework!!

We called Climate Partners LLC for a routine maintenance service visit and the technician put a huge hole in the condenser coil rendering the unit inoperable. Initially Climate Partners lied and refused to take any ownership of the damage. Climate Partners claimed there was a year-old leak in the coil that spontaneously and coincidentally ruptured while the technician was servicing the unit. The Climate Partners owner did not return my calls for five weeks and claimed he only received one of my messages. We had to get real AC professional to assess the damage and thoroughly inspect the unit. This AC professional noted in his report that "this ‘hole’ was not from wear or tear nor years of exposure [to the elements], it was caused by something sharp..." Further, the AC professional wrote that "we certainly cannot prove this hole was intentionally created but the situation is far from typical and disturbingly coincidental." This routine service call will end up costing well over $11k!!

Our complaints with all the gory details have been submitted to Ripoff Report, the BBB and the CT Department of Consumer Protection. Note, if we did our homework before hiring Climate Partners, we would have learned about other complaints submitted to these agencies by other customers. There are 22 complaints alone on file with the CT Department of Consumer Protection under license # S1-302545, SM1-790.

Climate Partners did a terrific job diagnosing and fixing our system. They were courteous, kind and their workmanship was outstanding. Nothing but positive things to say about this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT BUNCH!



Our experience with CLIMATE PARTNERS was the worst from any contractor we ever dealt with. Incompetent technicians who can not make correct diagnosis and managers that do not stay behind their work guarantee ( even though we paid extra $200 on top of the repair cost for the "recomissioning of the system" which was required for them to guarantee their work)- manager dodges phone calls, lies and is rude when he finally calls back, REFUSING to stand behind their own guarantee.

We are working with Better Business Bureau to try to get some resolution and justice for our case, also filing a case in small claims court. Do yourself a favor-

Casey Climate Partners is one of the worst in the HVAC Business. They installed a full system for me and I'm still battling all the issues with them after a year and a half. They failed to get permits, failed to fill out paper work properly, failed in installing properly, don't return phone calls, don't honor contracts. Do faulty workmanship. Over the last year 1/2 of their staff have left the company, including one of their BEST employees. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Our family loves Climate Partners. Their office staff is always cheerful and willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. Their technicians are top-notch! In addition to being highly skilled in their industry, it's the little thing that set Climate Partners technicians above all others: They arrive promptly on-time, they are courteous and polite (even taking time out to explain things to my 89 year old grandfather who tends to follow them around while they are working), they always show respect for our home and family by doing little things like always wearing shoe covers to protect our floors, making minimal noise while my 17 month old daughter sleeps. Having young children in the house, I appreciate the fact they are all "trust certified" and drug tested, as they are in our home with my young children. I would highly recommend Climate Partners to anyone who is looking for the best in the HVAC business!

They showed up on time and finished on time. Equally important, they communication with me on the progress and answered all of my questions. I'd recommend Climate Partners!

Climate Partners did a fantastic job here today. They made good recommendations and were very nice. I'd confidently recommend them to my friends and family.

Call was answered quickly. Tech arrived promptly. Friendly, professional, fair. Recommend highly.

Tom Casey did a lot of work for us including new ductwork, AC condensers, and air handlers which were replaced due to Storm Sandy. Later switched us from oil to natural gas and installed a high efficiency furnace. This is a customer focused company which delivers what is promised. Hard to go wrong with Tom Casey.

Climate Partners came through for us. Tom Casey and his Incredibly professional team that no only got us off of fossil fuels, but installed a state-of-the-art system that I'm truly convinced no one else could have replicated. I haven't used them for maintenance yet, but I'd have no reservations recommending them to a friend for any home heating, cooling or energy job big or small.

Stay away from these dishonest people. They don't care about their customers. They installed a HVAC system and it doesn't work and they do not accept the responsibility. CP technicians don't know what they are doing.

They don't care about their customers. I called and emailed them many times but they never get back to you after taking your money. I should have checked their Better Business Bureau ratings as they have 18 complaints filed. They also overcharged my credit card and I am going to file a lawsuit.

I would not recommend this company. Beware they make mistakes and do not assume their responsability. They came to my home to unclog a drain which they completed succesfullt but recommended to change the condensator trap. When they came back to change it as they were completing the job a piece broke and they couldnt get it out from my unit. I have had no A/C for 5 days and they dont return my phone calls and disconnect my line when I call back. Basically, I showed up at their offices and they said that to fix it I needed to pay $1500 as they were not liable because my A/C unit is old. Well my A/C was working fine until they recommended to change a piece, they should have never touched it. I now need to call another A/C repair guy to fix the problem as I am not paying them to do this job. I feel they dont care about their customers. As a matter of principal, if the A/C is working when you arrive at a customer's home and you break a piece and now the A/C doesnt work it is your liability not the customer.

DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY



These guys may offer your compettive pricing to get you in the doors, but once the warranty honeymoon is over THEY WILL GET THEIR MONEY BACK FROM YOU AND SOME! Be prepared to deal with Overcharging for each little thing, Charging for multiple diagnostic visits on the same problem, not to mention technicians who don't know what they are doing and cause more damage to your system while working on it- if you take the 'bait' and become Climate Partners customer.

They advertise "full money back" guarantee on their website- please understand that is a JOKE, there is NOT a small part of that claim that IS true
