Church on the Rock was founded over 36 years ago by Dr. Michael Jacobs and his wife, Pastor Diana. The church began to gather in homes with a handful of people, but soon moved to its first official location in a New Albany bowling alley in April of 1985. Our current building was constructed in 1992, and in 2016, Dr. Jacobs passed the role of Lead Pastor to his son, Jordan. Our church has been the launching pad for several other churches nationwide, and we are grateful to have seen God do many wonderful things here. We believe the future is bright and were grateful for every person who calls this church their home.
