Course topics include: - Missouri Law Concerning Use of Deadly Force - Missouri Concealed Carry Weapons Permits Qualifications - NRA Rules for Firearms Safety - Choosing the Right Pistol: Semi-Automatic versus Revolver - Ammunition Selection & Storage - Fundamentals of Basic Pistol Shooting - Target Assessment, Improving Shot Placement & Advanced Tips SATURDAY CLASS SCHEDULE Time: 10am-6pm Cost: $100 SUNDAY CLASS SCHEDULE Time: 10am-6pm Cost: $125 GROUP RATES & DISCOUNTS Classes consisting of at least 2+ students will be prorated (as low as $65). You may also choose to bring your own unloaded pistol (chamber cleared & magazine removed) if you already own a firearm and would like to learn how to disassemble & clean. Please bring your own firearm and 100 rounds of ammunition. It is highly recommended that you bring your own water (this is an outdoor range so dress appropriately for the climate). What you will learn: Gun Safety Rules Types of Pistols Ammunition Understanding a Revolver & a Semi-Automatic Pistol Selecting Pistols, Ammunition & Accessories The Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting Shooting Positions Aiming & Trigger Control Clearing Pistol Stoppages Cleaning and Maintenance Maintaining Your Skills This course meets the requirements of the NRA basic pistol shooting course and certification. Highly recommended for new shooters or individuals purchasing a new firearm. "CRIME PREVENTION & PERSONAL SAFETY SEMINAR" Introduction to Personal Safety Concepts Date: Sunday, June 18th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Age 18 and above) This course is not a firearms or self-defence class. It’s a seminar that will help you improve personal safety strategies and will provide you with valuable information that you can apply in every area of your life.
