Wow, where do I even begin. David and his crew are amazing, he went above and beyond our expectations and we can't thank him enough. We needed to quickly convert our garage with attached bonus room to a 2 bedroom ADU for a friend in need during the pandemic and David made sure to do everything in his power to get her and her son moved in quickly under very difficult circumstances with the city being shut down. We can't believe it's the same area, and quite honestly, it's nicer than our house! During the process, David truly became like family to us and we are so grateful for everything he did. We had a remodel of a garage that we converted into an accessory dwelling unit. We had an archItect handle the plans and we had interviewed several builders to do the construction. I came across Cavalier builders via Yelp and a few other review sites and couldn't believe the number of positive reviews they had. Over 50 +recommendations, all with 5 star ratings and very detailed explanations as to why they were so good. So we called them and met with David Moshe, the owner of Cavalier Builders. Out of all of the builders we spoke with, David listened to what we wanted and gave us concrete steps on how he would accomplish our project. He also gave us the areas of potential obstacles (our property straddles Los Angeles and Culver City). He also provided the most detailed Statement of Work with straight forward costing. Our decision to go with Cavalier was the right one!

We ran into a few obstacles with the plans that our architect had made, but David and his team took care of making what was on paper a reality and it turned out awesome... and on budget.

A a couple more things about Cavalier. They are a family business. Everyone that works there is either a family member or a long time friend. The supervisor on our project has worked with David for 30 years. It really makes a difference.

And to top it off, when our building inspector was doing the final inspection (by the way, we passed all inspections the first time) he told me "these guys really do great work." Coming from someone who has to deal with all sorts of builders day in and day out, that was the best compliment of all.

So now I have become another one of those reviews for Cavalier that is giving them 5 stars. Thank you David and all of Cavalier Builders!

There's nothing fun about having a busted water pipe in the kitchen under your flooring! But David and his gang were professional and quick to find the problem and have it fixed in as short a time as possible. Since they were already working in the kitchen we decided to redo all our lighting and repaint. They were very neat and all the employees were extremely kind. There is no other company I would call for any job around the house big or small! Thank you David and Cavalier Builders !

My master bathroom remodel was recently completed by Cavalier Builders, and I am excited to say that they helped create my dream bathroom! I had hired them last summer to take care of some smaller jobs around my condo, such as redesigning a closet and painting. I was pleased with their work and professionalism, so I decided to hire them for the bathroom remodel, and am so glad I did.

Given the spacial limitations I had, Sharon helped me visualize and create a great aesthetic and functional room. He was very patient with me as I weighed the decisions of what materials I wanted to use, and offered pros and cons for various choices along the way. The crew was very friendly and careful in my home. I appreciated how much emphasis they placed on small details to make sure nothing was missed.

Cavalier Builders and its President Sharon Moshe is one of the best business remodeling companies I have ever worked with.

Sharon made this project absolutely seamless , for a new beautiful new high end kitchen in a Studio City Ca condo. His workers are all experts in their field from plumbing to electricians to his cabinet people and counter tops. We have worked with many companies in the past, but Cavalier Builders exceeded our expectations. If an obstacle arose, he would contact us and work through the various solutions. His countless hours were very much appreciated.

The workers are neat, always polite and on time, and respect the other people living in the building. I will be using Sharon’s company again to remodel our baths in the very near future. For any remodeling needs or building a new home I HIGHLY recommend this company.

What a great decision it was to hire Sharon and his wonderful company. What really set them apart from other companies was they are just good hearted people with affordable pricing. At first I was only remodeling my master bathroom but they did such an amazing job that I decided to go ahead and have them remodel the kitchen and the bedrooms. Thanks to Cavalier Builders I finally feel like I have my dream home.

I highly recommend Cavalier Builders for any home renovation projects. We are so lucky to have acquaintance to Sharon and Isaac, they are so very knowledgeable and caring. We enjoyed actual involvement in picking up tile colors, they really go with you through the whole construction process, and it is fun chatting with Isaac and Sharon.
The workers are on time, very skilled in their different type of fields, respectful, very detailed and always clean up at the end of the day. As you can read from the reviews regarding the price, they are very reasonable with a quality materials and exceptional workmanship.Our first remodel was so horrible that the contractor failed in city inspection for a simple kitchen hood vent that they terminated inside the attic. This former contractor was very shady and always comes up with surprises digging deeper into our pockets. Rest assure that at Cavalier Builders, it is a stress free experience plus an enjoyable renovation adventure.

We hired Sharon from Cavalier Builders after interviewing several other contractors. He gave us a reasonable estimate and a reasonable time frame that he and his crew stuck to. We decided to go with Cavalier because we read the great reviews on several sites and also because of the positive initial meeting with Sharon. He didn't give us a huge sales pitch as some others did but he listened to our concerns and vision for our bath remodel and was very responsive to questions we had along the way. His crew was respectful of our space, prompt and clean! We now have a beautiful updated bathroom and couldn't be happier!!

In July of 2015 I purchased a new home in Camarillo, California. I had used David Moshe of Cavalier Builders to remodel the master bathroom of my previous home and was extremely satisfied with the timeliness, cost and quality of their work so it was an easy choice to hire them again, this time for the complete remodel of my new home which included the complete redo of the kitchen, bathroom, and powder room, as well as all new windows, wood-look tile and laminate flooring throughout the entire house, new lighting and ceiling fans, additional under-stairs and bedroom closet storage, new paint inside and on the exterior of the house and a built in BBQ.

I cannot speak highly enough of the fairness, quality and can-do attitude of David Moshe and his team. He respected my budget, opinions and desires and worked tirelessly to make my dream of my new home a reality in the minimum possible time frame. David is an expert at staying one step ahead of the process so that things run smoothly and is especially good at explaining the ins and outs of the construction process so that we could make mutually beneficial decisions together. Cavalier builders quoted fair prices, not rock bottom prices that would have required substandard building materials. In the event that something was not to my liking, David always responded immediately and worked to make it right. The final outcome of my completely remodeled home is stunning. If you are thinking about remodeling, I would highly recommend Cavalier Builders if you can get them! A company like this will always be in demand.

This is our third time working with Cavalier Builders and we've had them do two bathroom remodels and a kitchen remodel. Throughout all three jobs, owner/contractor Sharon Moshe and his team have been true all-stars that have finished projects on time or even early. Sharon is 100% attentive, responsible and caring. He is flexible and will work with you to get whatever you need done well and on budget. We've referred Cavalier Builders to many friends/colleagues and would never consider working with anyone else! Hire these guys...you will not be disappointed.

Cavalier Builders is a highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company!!! We had interviewed other renovation companies that caused us almost not to remodel the house ....our friend introduce us to Sharon that was very professional, patient and courteous.from wanted to remodeled only the kitchen we end up renovate the whole house including extension... The office staff showed a high level of responsiveness and respect. We enjoyed working with all of them. We would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them.

We bought a small 1915 bungalow in Hollywood that's a bit of a fixer upper. We hired David to do a kitchen remodel. I'm so impressed with the entire experience and that I've already recommended them to friends and plan using Cavalier again for future projects.

1. Super responsive and prompt: From the beginning to the end Cavalier Builders, and David in particular, has been easy to get ahold of and alway on time. David responded quickly whenever I texted him questions, even when it was after business hours or on weekends. For example, Jim and I were shopping at HD Supply on a Saturday and found a sink we really liked, but it was a little bit bigger than what we had originally talked about with David. The cabinets were already ordered/built, and we weren't sure if the dimensions were going to work with our space. So I took a picture of the specifications and sent it to David, and while we were still shopping he got back to us with an okay. Awesome!

2. On time and on budget. Budget was a big deal for me and Jim, and David was able to keep it exactly on. He even did some work outside the scope of the project and didn't charge us additional for it. Time was also a huge factor, because we were living in the house while it was being remodeled, and David was very sensitive to that. His guys even came in on some Saturdays, and the only time we had to wait was when Jim and I ordered something from a supplier that didn't have what we needed in stock.

3. Profoundly knowledgeable in his field and high quality work: We knew we would like the quality of work because David was recommended by one of Jim's friends, but I was still impressed with how much David knew about everything. Like where to find and how to install highly specialized materials such as old-fashioned hand cut clay tiles, cast iron sinks, and the 1x4 redwood siding for repair work to match the 100+ year old siding existing on the house.

We love our new kitchen! And loved our experience with Cavalier.

We had a few contractors come out and look at our house in Hollywood, and ultimately went with Cavalier due to a friend's recommendation + David's friendliness, professionalism, and competitive bid.

We were extremely happy with the results. We had David and company redo our kitchen, open up a wall, install french doors in another room, move an interior door, and do all the associated modifications (flooring, tile, plumbing etc.)

It was a big project and David did quality work throughout. He also worked with us when we wanted to handle things; we decided to do the painting ourselves, for example, and they were laid back and accommodating about stuff like that.

We also had very particular tastes. We asked them to put in an arched alcove (like the kind you'd see in an old house), for example, and our flooring and backsplash were done with hand cut tiles with very specific widths and colors for the grout. My point is just that, in general, we were picky with our design and David delivered each time. He also paid for some things on his own dime in order to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

I could go on, but the point is that we really just have positive things to say about Cavalier. We'll definitely call them again when we want to do more work on the house.

Cavalier Builders was like no other company I've worked with before. I would recommend them to everyone who is doing any kind of project in your home. Sharon made the project run very smooth.. The job was done quick,clean,beautifully and fairly priced. I love love love my pergola done in one day

Cavalier Builders helped us finish our complete home remodel in the areas we wanted to make sure were perfect - primarily the master bath and all of the details that finished off the house - railings, new windows, trim in the kitchen, refacing our fireplaces and exterior painting.

Sharon’s crew showed up on time everyday, kept the work area clean, and separated from our living area.

All work was spelled out in our contract and a payment schedule was set up as each milestone was reached. We paid for the materials directly so purchases were completely transparent, the materials belonged to us, and avoided conflicts down the road.

The work was first class and the results are spectacular. Our challenging tiny bathroom was completed in less than two weeks from demolition to completion and required no callbacks. We have no complaints and are already planning to utilize Cavalier to remodel our main bathroom as soon as possible.

I have a Cape Cod style house with an "A" type roof. I needed more storage space in my garage for all the junk I've accumulated over the years, Cavalier builders installed new floor joists and floor, insulation, vent, new attic ladder for access and lighting. Wow, what a great storage space now!

Cavalier Builders has a great group of guys that show up on time and do what they promise. They are neat, they take care of your property by covering everything in plastic, they pickup and sweep after each day.

I hired David and crew not only because he gave me a good price but also because I felt he really would take my vision, with my tight budget, and make it look amazing. I'm so happy with what he and his team have done. I'm a single mom and had no help. He drove with me to stores to purchase the right appliances and the right fixtures, lugged heavy purchases onto his truck and spent hours with me making decisions that really were not his responsibility. He cared and for that I'm grateful. My house is not just a house, it's a home. Thanks so much!!

When it came time to find a contractor for my daughter, I was happy to help. Sharon (accent on the 2d syllable), Cavalier's owner, was the first of 5 contractors to whom I talked. I explained what my daughter wanted done. Not only did his can-do attitude impress me, but so, too, did his professionalism and consideration for a client’s wishes. I found it very easy to talk to him – and that is a very important trait to exist between contractor and client.

When all was said and done, my daughter’s condo looked lovely! Who do we have to thank for that? Cavalier Builders! Their work – exceptional! The ease of working with them – exceptional! Has my daughter found a contractor on whom she can depend and to call upon for future remodeling projects? YES! It was my ultimate goal to find a contractor on whom she could rely, and I succeeded. :-)
