I was taken to emergency room in Columbia - Capital Region MO from my hotel- Anerihost in Fulton Mo few nights ago . I had been in Hospital three times in less than a week . I had 2 procedures and was admitted due to diagnosis . The two men late at night on Ambulance that were heavy set were horrible ! No pain meds , no zofran for vomiting , no blanket . The heavy set guy shrugged his shoulders when spoken to . I was in excruciating pain and they acted as if didn't know what to do or how to handle situation . My husband said that he said I was given him a lot of information but he couldn't process it ? I have been in medical field since 2001 . Maybe it was a brain kill for him but embarrassing at the skills or knowledge he had . Horrible approach in emergency situation and patient care . When he called report to Hospital , it was as if had no medical knowledge at all ! I was admitted due to circumstances but sad at treatment and care received from this service. I hope you can give them proper training in these situations .
