Thank you Joe!!!!! I hired Joe originally to begin repair work ( fixing foundation, repairing some columns that where leaning and replace the cement between the bricks ) on our historic T.C.U. home me and wife where selling. Then I had my heart attack. My wife and I just purchased our condo and where in the process of moving in when our sales agent had made a large list of repairs that we needed in order to sell our home. I had hired Joe and then I had my heart attack. My wife was now having to care for me, finish our move, and in charge of hiring all the contractors to complete the many repairs needed on our home. Thank you Joe for all you have done. Not only did Joe make our bricks look great but Joe taught my wife much about our home and it's construction. He explained to my wife all the repairs that where needed and why they where needed, so she felt confident in all the decisions she was having to make. All the contractors you referred us too did great work, they where very nice and friendly. Joe made everything go smooth and easy for Jenny. After all the work was done we wanted to move back into our old home. But instead we sold it for a hole bunch of money. Thank you Joe for taking such great care of our home, Bob and Jen

I hired Joe Guest Masonry to fix a leak that was causing water to get into the nursery we are putting together. My wife is pregnant with our second child. When there was a decent to driving raing we had a pool in the nursery. I was pretty sure I knew where the water was coming from and I contemplated repairing it myself, since I try to do all my own work. Since this was goinf to be the last step before new carpet, I wanted to be 100% sure it was done right. I spoke with Joe on the phone and he was happy to giuve me a quote. Then we couldnt work out a time for him to come out to my house. FInally, he sent a younger relative that worked for him (whose primary occupation I later found out is delivering pizzas). The guy told me that he needed to come out and cut away all the old mortar up to 3 bricks high and replce it with a stronger more quality product. I agreed to his $300.00 price tag and JP, the younger relative did the job, while his wife sat in the car in front of my house...? The repair looked good and we felt good about it, until we got the first rain 2 weeks later. there was more water than ever!! I called Joe and let him know that I needed to come out and look at the problem. He told me he would be there Monday morning. He never showed up. This went on all week. He stood me up 3 more times that week. Finally he told me that he and JP would come out together since their schedule was clear Friday morning. I told my wife to stay home from work so she could meet him and she said she would do no such thing, because he wasn't going to show up anyway. She was right! He never showed. I called him Friday evening and he told me how he was so busy and he couldn't make it... Just like the other 4 times. I told him that I felt like he was jerking me around and I didn't appreciate him not calling if he couldn't make it. the last time my wife handled it. She talked to him and he promised he would be at our house on Monday evening. He said he would be there ar 5pm waiting in his truck for her to get home. He NEVER SHOWED AGAIN!!! My wife texted him and told him we would no longer need his services and we would let as many people know about the terrible business he runs as we could. Long story short... NEVER use such a terrible, half-assed, sorry excuse for a mason!!

I really appreciate the very good service from Mr. Guest and his crew. He did everything we had talked about and more ! I had considered doing the brick repair work at my house 2 years before, but I was afraid the job would look patched. I wish I hadn't waited ! The work they repaired can't be seen at all !..If I didn't know where the part of the wall they fixed was, I couldn't find it again because it blends in perfectly ! Thanks ,Joe and crew !

Joe is a fraud. He covered damaged stone with mortar to make it look like it had been replace as quoted. I have called Joe for two months and he has made many excuses as to why he has not been back out to fix what I paid for.

Very good service! They responded on time and did what they said they would. We ended up with a beautiful job and couldn't be happier. I would recommend Mr. Guest and his company to any one that wants a great job at what I consider to be reasonable pricing.

Incomplete work

Masonry work included tuckpointing mortar cracks, replacing missing mortar, and removal/replacing mismatched mortar with mortar colored to match existing mortar color. Final day of work involved all of the above and payment was made while the mortar was still wet. Next day, it was obvious the mortar had not been colored, negating all of the previous work and leaving a mismatched patchwork of mortar. Unresponsive to requests to return and refinish the last day's work to provide a complete professional job.
