I have moved 10 times in the last 9 years. Moving is such a pain and for me, the biggest stress is the trust (or lack thereof) in the moving company you choose. I've spent countless hours reviewing and selecting the right moving company with each move. For the most part, I've been lucky and my due diligence has paid off. There hasn't been anyone terrible on my list, but one has stood out far and above the others: Barringer Moving and Storage.%0d%0a%0d%0aI received a quote for a long distance move (from North Carolina to Florida). I planned to store my belongings for only 3-6 months. Had a harder time than expected finding a new home in Florida and ended up storing my furniture for over a year. Chris was incredibly easy to work with, friendly and by the end of my process I had total trust in his team. The pick up was great. I remember saying if it's this easy by the time they dropped everything off, I'd be thrilled. And it was. It was the same team that delivered everything in Florida and they were top notch. On time, incredibly friendly, reliable, careful with my fragile furniture and honest. In fact, when they were about to bring in my furniture to my new house in Florida, he mentioned that one chair had a damaged leg from the move. He said this before bringing anything in and it gave me trust that they had kept close tabs on everything along the way, and he was forthcoming with the needed repair before I even saw it. So many other movers could have tried to let it slip under the radar. When I got in touch with Chris about the reimbursement, the check in full was in the mail the next day.%0d%0a%0d%0aI can't say enough about this company. I have no reason to tout them except for they deserved a glowing review. They made my move so easy and carefree. It's honest, hardworking and genuine people like Chris and his team that you want to support and recognize when it comes to good work.
