Great Service! I didn't think anyone could fix the old washer but my wife wouldn't let the darn thing go without a fight so I called my buddy's repairman and I was quite surprised that Appliance Medic was able to get the thing running like new again. Great job fellas.

After holding off fixing my ice maker for fear of it costing a fortune I was tired of not having ice for months so I asked around and I found Appliance Medic. The tech was friendly and on time. I was impressed with the service as well as being able to finally have ice again! Great job! I'd recommend this company to anyone!

I had Appliance Medic out to my home to fix my refrigerator a few weeks ago. He charged me for defrosting my freezer and said if you have anymore problems call him back. This week i had water puddled in front of my refrigerator and ice in bottom of freezer which I thought he took care of when he came so I called him back. I told him I think defrost tube was clogged up from what I researched on line and he said yep that is what it is you want need a service call and proceeded to tell me what to do but I knew that would n't fix the clogged tube or closed up grommet on tube. You would have thought he would have came back out since he charged me $175 minus $15 online coupon which made it $160.And would warrnaty his work which he didn't state and I didn't think to ask since i just wanted my refrigerator fixed and thought it was and he said to call back if a problem happens. So needless to say I had to call another repair service which was The Olde Homestead who fixed my refrigerator unclogged the tube and fixed the gromet in back that was clogged and even charged me $66 less than they did. If I ever need a repair service again I will never call Appliance Medic again and will rely on The Olde Homestead. I will give them a 2 stars for being on time for appointment but that is all because he clearly didn't fix the problem.

** I did contact him back and told him I had to get another repair service to fix the problem and asked for a partial refund. Today I received my full amount refunded back.

Thank you valued customer for taking the time to review our business. I am the tech that the customer trusted in their home and I take full responsibility for my work. I would like to explain why the customer felt they experienced bad service. I was called to the residence to repair a French door refrigerator where the icemaker is located in the refrigerator section. Water was leaking from the icemaker and had an error message on the user interface (the temp controls on the door panel). Upon arrival, I did a diagnostic and came to the conclusion that the problem was a fan blockage which delivers ever needed cold air from the freezer to the icemaker components in the refrigeration area. This job requires the tech to completely disassemble the internal components of the freezer including the back panel and de-ice the fans. After I completed this job, the error no longer appeared and the cold air was being delivered to the icemaker compartment in the refrigerator part of the fridge. No water was leaking from the refrigerator compartment, the problem was corrected. The MASPG Blue Book rate to complete this job is $220, I charged $175 and honored a $15 coupon which brought the total to $160. That is $60 less than the suggested price. Less than two weeks later, the customer called later in the afternoon on a Saturday and explained that the freezer was leaking water from the bottom and that they were having to mop it up with a towel from time to time. This time they had an entirely different problem than before and they were not getting an error message on their control nor was there water coming from the icemaker in the refrigerator. The water was coming from the freezer section, this is a very common problem even though a different problem than what I was called out originally for and is most often corrected by a simple defrost of the entire refrigerator. My mistake was that the customer, who never works on refrigerators would understand that this is a completely different issue from the previous one. That was my mistake, both of the problems involved water leaking on the kitchen floor, from the customer's perspective the unit is still leaking water on the floor so they think I did not do my original job. The refrigerator the second time around had a clogged drain line. The defrost system which keeps the refrigerator evaporator coil from icing over had a clogged drain line which is what caused the melted water from the evaporator to leak out onto the floor. I explained that there is no need for another service call, if the fridge is unplugged and left for 12 hours the unit should perform fine. This would allow the ice in the drain line to thaw. Just put the food in a cooler while this is being performed. I have helped many customers over the phone and have never been called back because it didn't work and in fact generally like that I help them this way; phone calls and advice are free which normally customers appreciate. Due to the unfortunate misunderstanding of each [separate] issue at hand, I refunded the cost of the job, we offer a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. Best Appliance repair service yet! I couldn't figure out why my clothes were smelling and he came out and did his magic on my washing machine. He came out at the time he said so I didn't have to miss work where most repair men say they'll come out between 9-5 he actually was there when he said he would be! Being able to have my washer fixed so I don't have to wear stinky clothes and having him come on time meant the world to me and I would highly recommend him.

Great Service. Friendly, professional and most important punctual! I really appreciate it when I can get service on my schedule instead of waiting all day for a serviceman to show up. What a wonderful service!

I had a warm fridge due to a burnt out fan. I called the medic and was told a few things to try but none helped. So he promptly came out, on a Saturday, and diagnosed my fridge/freezer. He had the part with him and commenced to fix it. He was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. The price was reasonable and didn't have to run out and buy a new unit! Thanks to the appliance medic my fridge/freezer is like new! I would recommended this service to everyone in the upstate, S.C.

Honest Dependable Punctual Professional

A life saver! With two children home with the flu what happens but my washer stopped out of no where. I was about to pull my hair out when I found Appliance Medic. The repair man came over that day, was quite so my children didn't wake up after having just put them down and he even took time out to fix my ice maker that I'd been putting off getting fixed. What a relief those guys are, I would definetly recommend Appliance Medic to others!

My Kenmore front load washer stopped working and showed error code F2, replacing it with a new one was going to cost almost a thousand dollars. Appliance Medic came out and fixed it, that was a year ago and it is still working perfectly.

I had a dryer that was not working. It is a high-end whirlpool model. Appliance Medic came when scheduled and were professional and courteous. My dryer is in a very tight cabinet and the technician took great care not to scratch my floors and cabinets when doing the repair. It was repaired quickly and I am happy to have a working dryer again!

My refrigerator was warm but the freezer was working just fine, the Appliance Medic repair man came soon after I called so I didn't lose any food while the other repair men said it would be 5 days before anyone could come out to even look at the problem. I'd definitely recommend Appliance Medic, not only because of the service but the repair man had a good personality that didn't creep me out being in the next room.
