You'd better have some deep pockets if you call these guys. Their pricing is sky high. If you think getting your car repaired is expensive, just call them to fix a leaky faucet! It took everything I had to not just put the plumber out of my house (but he was a nice guy, and he doesn't control the pricing). I paid the 38.00 fee for the visit, and told him NO THANKS! Wasted my money.

Twicw I have had the need for a good plumber while here in Havelock, NC. Twicew I have called APS. Twice I have had to pay thier show up fee before telling Thank you for coming but I cant afford you. The first time was to replece a hot water tank which they wanted $2000.00 for even though I wanted to but the tank. " we only install certain brands", I was told. Fortunately my wife and I were able to figure it out and do ourselves for only the price of the tank. Over $1500.00 in savings. The second time I wanted to upgrade the fixtures in my bathroom, which I had already bought as well as had the work area exposed. The qoute $700.00. Not sure how much work they do, but they are making a killing with thier $38.50 just to show up charge. My opinion, keep looking there are honest, quality much cheaper plumbers out there. Thank you.

I know plumbing work is expensive but my recent plumbing repair bill I think was a bit too much. For the job and the amount of time it took to repair the problem, I think I was overcharge a great deal. Eventhough there were other issues with APS this particular time I understand stuff happens that are not in our control, but to be overcharged the way I feel I as overcharge makes me angry eventhough I know APS do excellent work. I have hired them before and was completely satified with their work and pricing. No doubt I will probably need plumbing work again but I will think long and hard before I call APS again.

Not sure how good thier work is? I was turned off when they said they want $38 bucks just to show up at your house!
