STAY AWAY! They are the worst. My home warranty company (HSA) set me up with them. Took a MONTH to get my fridge fixed. Part was supposed to take 7-10 days. Receptionist always sounds annoyed and is unresponsive. I had to follow up myself every day to find out the status on my fridge part. When I contacted HSA to complain, she magically called with the part and an appt time hours later. When I complained to technician about her, his 'defense' (?) or explaination was that she was the only one in company not in the family... Technician finally arrived to say he had the wrong part! He then sounded like he was on a personal call and when he hung up, explained that the owner (aka brother or dad) told him it was actually the right part. He then tried to get me to ok him ordering more new parts before they went bad for a fairly new fridge - felt like he wanted to get more work from warranty company or something. I just wanted him OUT of my house. Kept repeating himself and I had to finally tell him to just leave.

Horrible! I called the home warranty service (HSA) regarding my dishwasher. They sent out All Star Appliance Repair. They came and said they would replace the motor. I had (and still have) a problem with my dishwasher not cleaning my dishes. I waited nearly 4 months for them to get the motor for my fairly new (2 1/2 yrs.) GE Stainless Profile dishwasher. It seemed odd that the part would take that long to obtain since the dishwasher isn't that old. When I called, they said the part still wasn't in. FInally, during the 4th month, they came out and installed it and said it should work fine now. That wasn't the case. I called them back, they came out and I told the service tech that it was still not cleaning the dishes even though it was loaded lightly and rinsed the residual food off of the dishes. He said dishwashers were made to sanitize, not clean and that I would have to rinse my dishes. I told him I did but if there were anything left on the dishes, it was not significant. And I said that I've had dishwashers all my life and never had issues like this. In fact, my last 2 dishwashers had no problem getting even somewhat dried food off. Yet, this one would not get residual tiny dots of food off. He said I needed to take a rag to wipe them first and get everything off first just so the dishwasher could sanitize. He got a bit arrogant and said "Look...I've been doing this for how many years and they're gonna believe me over you (meaning the warranty company) I've got an $800 Kitchen Aid and it won't clean dishes if I don't rinse them first." He was insinuating that I didn't? And furthermore, is that how they treat their customers? Getting snippy and threatening them? So totally unprofessional and very poor customer service and satisfaction!

Absolutely terrible. Never contacted me to tell what was wrong with my washing machine after I paid them . I had to call them and they forgot to order the part they needed. I waited a month to get my machine fixed. Completely unprofessional.

THE WORST. Contact this company only if you don't have a job and can stay home for lots of appointments.



I've had three appointments to try to get my dryer fixed and it's still unresolved. The first was for them to come out and tell us that it was broken so they could order a part. The next was to install the part WRONG, And the third they cancelled citing bad weather (but my husband who is a local auto parts driver had no problem going into work and driving all day). The receptionist has a terrible attitude problem, her voice drips with irritation and confrontation. They told us that the part would be in on a Monday so we waited for the call to schedule install - it didn't happen. We waited a week after before we called to ask what was up.



The timer doesn't line up to the stop areas so we had to cover it with blue painters table indicating the new stops and minute settings but they don't see an issue with that. They can't come out at the end of their service window or commit to smaller time windows than 2 hours.



I'm fairly disgusted with this company.

If you like dealing with personable, honest people, you will like Allstar Appliance Service. When my microwave quit working for the 4th time in 4 years, I called Allstar Appliance Service. The young lady answering the phone was cheerful and very eager to assist me with an appointment that would work for me. She sent out Chris who is the owner and one of the technicians for the company. Chris was right on time and very courteous! Chris was very knowledgeable and was able to solve my problem within minutes. As a 30 year real estate professional, I have dealt with many types of service people, and I can tell you that Allstar Appliance is a company you can rely on to meet your repair needs. Dennis K.
