Cathy Horrocks is simply the best trainer you could ever have the pleasure of working with! She has you and and your dog(s) first and foremost in mind as she works with you. Throughout the process she helps you become aware of what your dog needs in a leader and provides the necessary steps to achieve that. I have been fortunate to work with Cathy for the past five years with both a Lab and rescue Lab-Shepherd mix. In both cases it has been a wonderful experience! The rescue was filled with fear when we first adopted her and Cathy was able to help us work through those issues. We now have a sincerely happy dog that loves going to agility classes with her sister. I love telling them "time for school!" and watching their pure excitement! Thank you Cathy for your positive impact on all of us!

Cathy Horrocks is a wonderful trainer. She has done so much to instill confidence in our dog and the agility training has the added benefit of inproving his listening skills and overall obedience. I've been training my dog with Cathy Horrocks since he was a pup. I was so impressed with her positive and effective training methods, and her ability to assess each dog and give individualized recommendations. She really understands dogs and how they think. She has pointed out things about my dog that I did not realize myself. I strongly suspect that she was a dog in a previous life! Cathy is knowledgeable and skilled with all dog breeds and issues.

My dog and I continued training with her after achieving basic good manners because her classes are so much fun! Cathy has helped me train my dog to achieve a Canine Good Citizen certificate, Therapy Dog International certificate, and agility championship. Frisco is the #1 Miniature Schnauzer for 2010 competing in NADAC agility.

I have been training with Cathy for 8 years now, and my new puppy will be starting with her soon. ~ Karen & Frisco (& Desi, too)

If you want training for you and your dog this is the place to go. Wether you are just looking for some basic manners or your looking to try the world of Dog Agility you can't ask for better trainers. First and foremost safety is the key ingredient and with that comes the fun! To have someone understand your dog so well, is a blessing. I would reccomend them to anyone that has a good dog, a scared dog, a misbehaving dog, no matter the breed.

Cathy Horrocks has over 30 years of dog training experience, not only training her own dogs but also helping thousands of dogs (and humans!) achieve a healthier relationship. She has also donated countless hours volunteering her time and expertise to local humane societies & shelters, 4-H groups, public education demonstrations, and fostering a wide variety of breeds. Over the past 30 years, Cathy has owned many breeds and mixes, large and small. Her first-hand experience of living and training a variety of breeds has helped her understand that ALL DOGS are unique, so their training should be too! While Cathy specializes in teaching Agility, she also enjoys teaching basic household manners for the average owner and dog, as well as helping owners with “challenging” canines that need behavior rehabilitation. Cathy looks at each dog as an individual and takes the dog’s personality into consideration during training and helps the owner to ‘read’ & communicate correctly with the dog. Cathy has competed and titled in many dog sports, including Competition Obedience, Herding, Agility, CGC (Canine Good Citizen), and Therapy dog work. Cathy has competed in many performance sport registries, including NADAC, AKC, UKC, AMBOR, and Mixed Breed Dog Clubs of America. “Although I love competing with my dogs, first and foremost my dogs are my daily companions, so living within a well-structured pack is critical.” ~ Cathy
