I strongly recommend Affordable Home Inspections. They inspected a home I'm considering buying and were very thorough. I had had another inspector, but suspected he hadn't been as thorough as he needed to be. Affordable went everywhere in the house, finding many things and going into places in the house I hadn't known inspectors could see. The inspector was extremely knowledgeable about everything from electrical systems to plumbing to the roof and siding. He examined the water heater, went behind the washer and found found faulty pipes, examined the pipes under the sink, crawled under the house and found other possibly dangerous hazards. The windows, the flooring; he was amazing. I could not recommend him enough. His report was very thorough and easy to read. I would also say that even if you're not buying but want to know the condition of your house, you should call Affordable. They might find things which are a hazard or possible hazard and save you time and money.
