We used a contracting company owned by the same people to redo our master bathroom. THIS COMPANY DID THE WORST JOB POSSIBLE. We had to redo all the tile since the grout was coming up. The job took forever. The finish was horrible. And I had to purchase everything and deal with all the issues.

BEWARE - DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. We had contracted with All American Windows and Siding, Inc. in February 2007 to build a sunroom. Beginning on June 4, 2007 we had numerous problems from a leaking roof, water coming in from underneath the deck, the handrails coming apart from the deck and numerous other safety code violations. The contractor was unresponsive, would not come to do the repairs when they said they would and never completed the sunroom. We tried going through the normal channels of the Better Business Bureau, but the company was unresponsive to them as well. In September 2008 we hired a lawyer to try and get the contractor to make the necessary repairs and finish the sunroom. Again, he was unresponsive to the lawyer and we did not have the money to continue to retain the lawyer to go to court. On June 12, 2009 we filed a claim with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and after over 2 years we finally received a court date for July 6, 2011. Four years after hiring this contractor to do a job and 2 years after filing the claim. However, On June 28, 2011, the contractor got a postponement because the lawyer he entered into court one month before the hearing happened to be on vacation during the hearing. The court was rescheduled for September 26, 2011, but it ended up in a continuance, which was scheduled for November 7, 2011. On Friday, November 4, 2011, the contractor once again got a postponement for the continuation court hearing that was scheduled for November 7th. These are the tactics that the contractor and his lawyers use when they go to court, hoping that the consumer will eventually get tired and drop the case. And neither the Home Improvement Commission nor the Office of Administrative Hearings will do anything to prevent this contractor from ripping off another consumer.
