Stopped by Debsan on Friday around 4pm needing to buy a pack of disposable latex gloves. There was one guy working the paint counter waiting on a woman. He saw me before he then proceeded to go downstairs. I decided to look around for myself and only found a single pair of gloves but was looking for a multi pack. When he returned to the counter he looked at me and I asked him “Hello, can you you please tell me yes or no if you carry the 10 pack of latex disposable gloves?” I even held up the empty package that I previously bought from Debsan’s. He looked back down at the woman’s paint order and said in an unfriendly tone “I’m helping this customer now, when I’m done with this customer then I will help you.” I wasn’t looking to pull him away from the counter just looking for a simple yes or no. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered less than stellar customer service skills at Debsan. So I left and bought the gloves at Home Depot where I encountered much friendlier service. I’m all for supporting local businesses but not if they are going to have lousy customer service skills. I will never set foot in Debsan ever again.
