Located in Nashua, N.H., Fairgrounds Elementary School offers a variety of educational programs to more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through six. The school provides academic programs in English, mathematics, social studies and science. Its Destination Imagination is an extracurricular, school-sponsored program that solves team-based problems and provides life skills to students. Its literacy center offers professional development and support in research-based literacy instruction, guided reading, strategies for teaching writing, spelling and classroom instruction. Its parent-teacher organization provides funds for help with field trips and assists teachers in acquiring additional instructional materials.
