Extremely unhappy with Pool and Deck Concepts. Did a full renovation and they put tiles over existing tiles as opposed to property removing existing tiles first. Tiles were falling off. They refused to repair under warranty and deny that they tiled over existing tiles. Had to pay for a complete renovation again from a reputable company. Do your research, as a warranty is only as good as they company behind it.

Pool and Deck Concepts resurfaced our pool and installed a new pool deck in April 2016. Their staff were very helpful is selecting our finishes. The work was done on schedule and within budget. We love the completed work. They were very easy to deal with and very communicative throughout the process. Great job!

Steer clear!!! We hired pool and deck concepts to totally renovate our pool and deck, and what a nightmare! What was supposed to be finished before our renters arrived was far from complete. Not to mention phone calls not being returned even after several attempts to reach them. I would never in a million years do business with this company, I would STRONGLY encourage you to look elsewhere- the only timed they called back was to threaten to withhold our warranty if we didn't pay the $1000 we withheld... Yet the pool was still not finished. How a company can run on such terrible customer service is beyond me, but please learn from our mistake. RUNNNNNNNN

The whole experience was a total nightmare. We never knew what was going on, what work was going to be done, who was coming to our home. The work was shoddy, our pool was being worked on in the pouring rain, travertine was not mudded down at all, travertine was not evenly put down. I had to have them pull up travertine two different times and fix. I still have travertine that is not even. When we complained, all we were told is that this is normal for a pool remodel.. The owner takes no responsibility for the work that is performed by the subcontractors. When we tried to talk to him about any of our issues he would just tell us that we needed to speak to the subcontractor. If I knew that I would have to cuommunicate directly with the subcontractors, I would have hired them myself. We have had to hire other subcontractors to finish the job, and are still trying to get it done.

Think twice before you choose Pools + Deck Concepts for your pool and deck needs. First, you are required to make your final payment prior to the completion of the project. As you can guess this did open the door for shoddy and incomplete work and a business owner who did not live up to his promise. Voicing our concerns to workers we asked for the owner to stop and go over our problems and concerns but told owner does stop at job sites yet 2 months later he stopped and wanted additional money for work they did not do and we did not want. At that time we wanted to go over the problems with the job and he could only scream "Read your contract" over and over.



If your in the market for a pool and deck install or refurbish as we did you need to do your homework. Have a plan, make sure all work to be done is noted in the contract, and finally do not be afraid to ask for references.



There are many reputable companies that provide these services but Pool + Deck Concepts is not one of them.
