The City of Naples Bureau of Fire provides services through its fire operations division and fire prevention division. Its fire operations division is responsible for fire suppression and responding to medical emergencies. Additionally, the division responds to technical rescue operations, hazardous material incidents and public service requests. The bureau s fire prevention division is responsible for conducting fire and life safety inspections and delivering public education programs. The City of Naples Bureau of Fire has an emergency services unit for mitigation of confined space incidents, underwater rescue and recovery and high-angle rope rescue. It is located in Naples, Fla., and has firefighters, lieutenants, fire inspectors and prevention specialists on its staff.
