Naperville Public Works Department provides maintenance services for city streets, parking lots, storm sewers, detention basins, parkway trees, buildings, and commercial and residential properties. It manages the household hazardous waste site, central business district services, commuter train stations and city fleet services. The department provides snow removal, brush and leaf collection, street sweeping and mosquito control, as well as manages parkway tree-planting programs. It administers contracted trash, yard waste, recyclable material collection and street light maintenance. Located in Naperville, Ill., the public works department maintains more than 55,000 parkway trees.
