We forgot a back pack at a local hotel and the Mail Room picked up the back pack from the hotel, packed it up and mailed it to us. I feel their $10 fee for picking up and boxing the back pack was very reasonable.

I believe this company is committing fraud. They represent themselves as a full-service shipper but neglect to inform the customer that they MORE THAN DOUBLE the shipping costs. When I inquired about what I thought was high amount for an USPS Express Mail shipment, I was told that I should be glad because sending it UPS would have more $30.00 more. However, the US Postal Service sent me a receipt for my package today and it stated Express Mail was $33.75... The Mail Room charged me $79.13!!! More than double!!! When I called the owner, he told me it was standard mark-up. I asked him why the customer is not informed of this mark-up and why I wasn't informed when I asked him a specific question about it when I was in his store. He told me that it was standard mark-up to cover himself if he makes a mistake. That still doesn't explain more than double!! I told him I felt his business was committing fraud. He never offered to make the situation right, he only said it wasn't fair I said he was being fraudulent.
