My wife and I have a dryer that started making screeching noises and began to overheat. I called Randy Luke from Luke’s Washer and Dryer. He came out and first broke off the thermostat then said that must have been the problem so he replaced it with what looked like a used one and charged us $35 for the part and $65 for the service call. Five minutes after he left the washer was still making screeching noises and overheating. I called him probably 10 times over that week and left several messages. He finally on Friday answered and said he would come back and replace the motor. He came and put in a motor that spun the wrong way so now the dryer will not even turn on. I have called him over 10 times and left at least three messages and have had no response. On the last message I told him he can take the dryer and the motor that he put in it but that I thought he should refund us the $55 for the wrong motor.
