In May 1972, the construction of our first apartment building, Willow Terrace, was complete, providing 100 efficiency and one-bedroom apartments. Ten years later, our second apartment building, Poplar Terrace, was opened. It provided 77 apartments. Then, ten years following Poplar, Tulpehocken Terrace opened in Myerstown, hosting 46 apartments. Maple Terrace, Oak Terrace, and Hill Terrace soon followed.Unlike the other newly constructed buildings, Oak Terrace was the renovation of an historic early 1900s building, which was originally built as a home for aged women. Giving new life to this building and the renewed purpose of providing affordable senior housing, this property also serves as the location of our main offices.
