I had total knee replacement on March 5th of 2000 that was done by Doctor Brad Boone and his Assistant Travis. The operation went well and I had and had Community Home Health come to my house for my physical therapy two days a week. That went well but my knee was not healing like it should. I was then assigned to Summit Physical Therapy in Muskogee. The first thing I noticed that they were following the Corvid Virus to the tee. Temperature taken as soon as you came in the door you had to have a mask that covered your nose and then wash your hands. The whole staff always greeted you and made sure you were ready to get started. I had Robert Cramer on my first visit and he had everything ready to go and my first workout went very well and I could tell he knew his job very well and cared about me and I knew I had a great workout. On my second visit I had the pleasure to have Hope Giem she was very friendly and made sure your mask covered your nose completely. I told her that my nose was bigger than the mask and she politely rearranged my mask. hope is very energetic and knew her job well and you knew when your therapy was over that you had a good one. I then had my first workout withPatricia Norwick and she was very stern and made sure you did everyone of you exercises and did them right. I went away thinking she was Sgt Bilko but the more I had her the more I learned from her. Today is my last day and I am already trying to figure out what I was going to do with my spare time. There are a lot of people that dread going to physical therapy but I looked forward to going ,it was the highlight of the day. I coached at Muskogee High School for 29 years and had a lot of my players had to have physical therapy but I can honestly say that if you need physical therapy give Summit a call and I promise you that you will get better more quickly and will always be treated with kindness and compassion
