We have taken several of our cars we've owned to Dowdy's ; why? Honesty, that's why. My wife's car needed repair on the windshield wipers - they quoted around $100.00. The owner found a good used motor to replace the bad one, called for our okay, then installed it, for a grand total of $50.00! Then, on my car, there was a clunking that was weird. I expected the worst, bad shock, etc., but the lug nuts were loose on the RF tire. My bad, too. He charged me ten bucks, but the main thing is he could have been dishonest about it, said it was a bad shock, spring, or whatever and fleeced me for hundreds; there's a lot about a car we don't know that they went to school for. I just know that this man keeps things on the up and up; and has no idea how thankful we are for the way we're treated there. It's our go-to place. Give 'em a try - we're glad to be repeat customers.
