South Side Christian Church has helped literally thousands experience God's powerful purposes and plans through His written word, the Scriptures. We have introduced people from all walks of life to Jesus Christ and have shown them just what the Bible says about every day problems. We're here to serve God by serving others - you're what we're all about! South Side Christian Church is a family, rich in heritage and moving toward the future. Church is about people, so everyone you see also struggles with very personal issues of both sin and the scars of life. God sees these things and has a plan to help you. There is no such thing as a perfect Christian. As a family, we grow and are stretched by the life-transforming power of God's word. Our doors, our arms, and our hearts are open to you. What is your worship service like? Our morning worship services are designed to praise and glorify the Father. Come and experience the good news about Christ with us at 9: 00 am and 10: 30 am in services of beautiful, soul-touching music, powerful sharing of God's design for your life. Connect with a loving Christian family. In order to meet the needs and interests of today's youth, we offer a variety of contemporary, relevant, and fun activities and programs designed to enhance their personal growth experience. Current programs include a Wednesday night program ; Jr. High and High School have opportunities on both Sundays and throughout the week. Children's programming for all ages is fully staffed on Sunday mornings and for various functions during the week. What about small groups? We are continually developing a wider variety of groups to meet your individual needs. Several of our small groups meet in the homes of members. Studies share the Word of God and make application to life in today's world. What about social opportunities? A number of social events, seminars, and service opportunities enable everyone at South Side to work together for the building of Christ's church in Northwest Indiana and around the world.
