I purchased a freezer from their store last year. It stopped working and manufacturer sent us return authorization with RMA No. RMA00000035117. I went to their store on Wednesday July 6 and met William Capps, manager. He got all the needed information/ paperwork from me and told me we are "ALL SET' to RETURN it.



I rented a truck and drove to their store all the way from Danville on Saturday, July 9 and saw manager Jack. He told me they don't have any of the paperwork. Then, Jack told me the RMA number is not in their system and he CANNOT take it back. I tried to explain that it will be very inconvenient for me to rent another truck another time but...



Jack promised me that he will get back to me and resolve the issue but no one called me in the past 10 days. Worst customer service!!!

To whom it may concern.



Within the past couple of weeks we have purchased a television antenna with an amplifier. The quality of this device is unregulated and quite a disappointment, and hardly worth over $100.00 we spent on this accessory. We found upon some troubleshooting that the amplifier was the culprit of our troubles. The power supply for the amplifier has a sticker rating it as 12V at 100Mah, but when measured, output 16.4 volts.. I believe that this is either a mislabel, or a manufacturing fault. This amplifier does not function. We have another one of these antenna sets which does function, where the output of the power supply is also not the same as the label on the supply brick, and it too measures at 16.4 volts. Perhaps the amplifier circuit failed because of improper voltage from the included power supply. Though the voltage is consistent with the working device, There are multiple design characteristics that scream a lack of quality, such as a rattle that can be heard from inside the antenna, the non-functional amplifier, and the mislabeled power supply.

This kind of quality coming form Best Buy is disappointing. it is becoming a pattern that I have to take back nearly every product I purchase from Best Buy because of the poor quality. Perhaps the retail store gets the bottom of the barrel stock, or markets returns as a new item. In the past I have purchased a MacBook Pro in 2009, that had to be returned because the RAM controller was faulty. I had to return faulty cables, and more recently a ceramic heater because of a bad orientation sensor, and an Apple TV because it was old stock and on a recall list. The store is consistently out of stock, or the items are not displayed on the shelves.

I cannot afford spending money at a store that does not hold a quality product, nor at a reasonable price for the quality sold. From this point forward I will resort to buying my items online from the manufacturer or other party, where I know I can get a product of proper quality. Too often American companies support quantity over quantity, and in the end it comes back to bite them. Consider this letter as advice to better your business for the future.
