The company also serves the medical community through its Allos Reference Laboratory, a fully licensed clinical reference laboratory. Ready-to-use allergenic extracts for immunotherapy are also available to physicians along with clinical expertise from the company s medical director. Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics is headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley in Mountain View, Calif., and has offices throughout the world. Formerly known as Mast Immunosystems, Hitachi Chemical acquired the company in 1996. It was one of the first companies to introduce a multiple diagnostic test for allergies.
