A Passion for fine craftsmanship - I have many years experience in woodworking, and have found it to be a skill that I was able to use in repairing furniture. It began over 20 years ago, when I worked alongside an experienced custom cabinet builder. I had had an interest in the art of luthierie (the construction of stringed musical instruments) for quite some time . I built 5 guitars before I met my wife and had to get a real job! The enjoyment I experienced building those instruments has stayed with me, and I still perform repairs on stringed instruments and am hoping to build more guitars in the future! While I like to think I know a thing or two about wood, each project is an opportunity to learn and grow. The satisfaction of seeing the finished product is something I look forward to with each job, embracing the challenge of making each repair more invisible than the last.
