The owner is always friendly and helpful! This is a delightful local gift shop. These local shops are treasures and should be supported. I highly recommend MOONHILL Mercantile. LANG Christmas cards are especially beautiful.

I did not like the service at all. I saw something that I was interested in purchasing for a Christmas gift. My sister lives out of town so I took a picture of the item to get her opinion and the owner yelled at me calling it tacky...I don't suggest going there. I would have purchased the item to support the business, but now I will drive farther to make a point and to only support the friendly businesses.

The store is OK... a lot of items are pricey and not my cup of tea. There are Lang items here, and some kid/baby items, but more often than not I leave without buying anything. The owner and workers there aren't all that friendly. I called once to ask about a certain product and felt like I was asking them to do too much by checking to see if the item was still there. The one time I did buy something, the clerk didn't greet me or ask how I was doing, she just rang the items up silently and handed me the bag. Kind of disappointing in the downtown area where so many other stores are so friendly and "smalltown".
