My specialty is sewing pants for others. I sent half of my clients to Joann’s to pick out fabric, the other half chose from my remnant samples. I always buy 2.5 yards. Today I cut front legs out and found that I’d been given 2 yards rather than 2.5; no back legs to work with. So I returned to Joann’s to get the proper yardage and was told I needed my receipt. Yes, they recognized me as the lady who is always buying 2.5 yards of fabric but with no receipt no correction. I checked the web and have seen I can get wood blends (Joann’s doesn’t carry at my location) for the same price as Joann’s is selling cotton blends. I guess Joann’s did me a favor. Customer service has never been Joann’s way, I know this, but to be cheated is yucky.
