I called and he came and gave me an estimate on cutting down a tree and we

made an apppointment. He didn't show up or call.

Not good service at all.

I would highly recommend Jeff Griffin for anyone in the Morganton area needing a tree removal service. They came out right away to give us a quote and started work later that week. They were upfront and honest and did a wonderful job. They communicated with me to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted and they went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. They worked fast and cleaned up great and had the place looking amazing! They were very nice people and we will defiantly be using them in the future!!

I want to thank Jeff Griffin and his staff at Griffin Tree Service for their excellent work, customer service, and professionalism. His knowledge and experience in tree work is unsurpassed for this area. I would recommend this company for any tree and landscaping work. While I have only used his tree service and not his landscaping services yet, I have seen his work and would certainly recommend that as well. If you want a professional who knows trees and possesses the ability to provide a creative solution to your landscaping projects, you can't do better than Jeff and his staff at Griffin Tree Service & Rustic Landscapes.

I just wanted to say thank you to Griffin Tree Service for a job very well done. You guys were extremely professional and honest with me throughout the entire process. As far as your past with the law, it is just that....the past. It is the homeowner's responsibility to investigate who they hire to do work in their home. Every homeowner should do this, it is called Google. It is not, however, up to a rival company to go online and announce it to the entire world; not to mention the letter that was placed in my mailbox. For someone to take these actions has very low class and very low self-esteem and I would never hire anyone like that to do a job in my home.

Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job safely removing several hazardous trees that were located around our home. Jeff was very prompt, courteous, and his prices were very reasonable. His skill, and knowledge of trees was very impressive. He cares about the safe removal of trees, and is also very concerned with saving trees as well. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Great Job, Jeff!

This tree service is owned by a convicted felon for larceny and drugs. He claims that he has over 25 years of service to our community, but I personally know that he has only been in business under this name since January 2010. He also ran a business under the name of The Griffin's Nest many years back and has since been doing only odd jobs. He has absolutely no knowledge or experience in the field of landscaping or landscape design!!!

I have seen his work - and he does know what he is doing in the line of tree work - there is no doubt about that; however, he is NOT an Arborist, according to the ISA.

On his website, he denounces any connection with Carswell's Landscaping, Carswell's Tree Service or Eric Carswell. I find that this type of statement about the company VERY strange!

Jeff Griffin (former Arborist - Carswell Tree Service) worked very hard and has definately won our return business. Jeff personally spent time with us discussing our wants and options as well as explaining what would be best for our beautiful trees. We wish Griffin Tree Services the very best and trust that all the clients HE personally has served will recognize the importance of talking directly with the person who will actually be doing the TREE WORK. There's great risk in talking to someone who is just "pricing" your job. With Griffin Tree Service & Rustic Landscapes you will never get one person pricing the job while another person does the work. Jeff, I know your accumulated work will help you a whole lot.
