So I asked around for somewhere new to go for my husbands birthday and only heard good things about this place. WELL, I made a reservation several days before for 15 for 630pm. We all get to the restaurant, place is packed, parking lot filled,have to park in grocery store next door. okay i could deal with that. The place itself is really nice, small but nice. So we get put back in a room where there is already a group of about 10 sitting. We are the only 2 groups in this room. We sit down and get our menus and shortly after our drink orders are taken. About 15 minutes later our parties drinks finally start coming out, one or two drinks at a time. Instead of just putting them all on a tray, one waitress brings them all out separtely and even making some mixed drinks wrong. So then we wait and wait and my mom finally get mad enough to go tell someone that we still havent had our dinner orders taken and some ppl are still waiting for drinks. 40 MINUTES after being seated our orders are finally taken. Most of the time the waitresses are no where to be found, most likely tending to the other guests in the dinning room area. Our appetizers come and then dinner. Drinks ordered during this time have to be asked for repeatedly or we probably would never have gotten. While waiting for dinner,my husband asks to speak to the manager, the waitress states, there is no manager on tonight but the owner is here, i will get her for you. A few minutes later the waitress comes out and says that the owner is too busy to come out right now!!! REALLY!!!!!! You have complaint and you dont want to correct it immediately??? So what do they do....send out what probably amounted to about a 1/2 tray of red pizza cut into small peices, sorry this just isnt going to fix this problem. We get our food, one person in our party got the delmonico, it was mostly fat!!! 3 others got the Veal and Eggplant Christina - extremely over cooked and presentation looked like somthing a small child vomited up! Sorry! Everyone else said the food was ok. The portions were good. So, my husband had asked for the "owner" two more times and all the waitress could say is, she is busy and then laughs. NOT FUNNY! My husband and everyone else complain to the waitresses about how long we've been there and all they could say is "we opened this room up to accommade your reservation". UM WELL, obviously you cant handle opening this room up!!! They bring out our checks and tell us they were kind enough to include a 20% tip!!!! SERIOUSLY!! We left there at 930pm!!! 3 hours after we got there!!!!!!!!! I feel bad for the waitresses cuz it really wasnt their fault they were so understaffed! I also spoke with and couple that was sitting in the dining area and were waiting 2 hours for their dinner. All 15 of us will NEVER go there again and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

The food and atmosphere is amazing. The crab bisque is delicious. The pasta sauces are great too. I would have given it 5 stars, but last winter we got a table in the front window, and nearly froze to death.
