Just because this is a cheap store in a small town doesn't excuse the way their managers treat their customers and employees. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes, it was finally my turn to be rung up by the only cashier in the store. Feeling guilty because I had over 60 items and not wanting to hold up the line for the 6 people behind me purchasing much less, I asked if there was another cashier. The cashier asked for help and the manager reprimanded him in front of the customers telling him to never do that again. I explained that it was me that requested the second cashier and then she started being rude to me lecturing me in front of customers. The cashier did apologize for his managers actions which I appreciated. Amazing that she can get away with being abusive to her employees and rude to customers. There are two new dollar stores opening up in town and they really need to get some professionals in there to clean up this store. I spend a minimum of $50 a week in dollar stores and after years of putting up with below satisfactory customer service, I look forward to not having to shop at this Dollar Tree anymore.
