LOVE this place!! Mostly the stunning ginger bartender Ashley. She was an absolute gem, not mention one hell of a worker for being 4 months pregnant

We had previously had good experiences with other Outback Steakhouses, and decided to try this one in Lansdale. Our first impression was slightly marred when the greeter asked if we had "pre-reserved" and when I said "no" she told me I'd 'have to' check in with a woman holding a clipboard. At that point I wanted to walk out, because I don't like anyone telling me I 'have to' do anything, especially someone who's supposed to greet me. But, we stayed and enjoyed a good appletini while we waited for a table. The wait was quite short and the appetizer we had, barbecued ribs, was very good. We decided to go with what we considered the restaurant's forte....I ordered the small roast beef, and my husband had a NY Strip steak. They should've been excellent. But, unfortunately, my roast beef was dry and had no taste. Ditto with the NY strip steak. It appeared that they might have precooked the steak and then thrown it in the oven for a few minutes to warm it up. Not even the broiler, but the oven. That's how it tasted. Needless to say we will never go back. If the Outback can't do decent steak and prime rib, then there's no reason to go there. We can get good martinis somewhere else.
