I am a huge fan of Japanese cuisine and I found Ooka in Montgomeryville exceptional. Honestly, I would never have taken the time to write a review if I didn't enjoy my experience so much. When I entered the restaurant with my wife I was thrilled about the great atmosphere. It was very modern but gave a very energized, intimate feeling. The sushi bar is huge and they have a lot of hibachi tables. This restaurant can probably hold large parties which is a huge plus for me because of the size of my family. The bar is not only great looking but the specialty drinks are delicious. The bar is positioned perfectly in the front of the restaurant just in case you and your party want to enjoy a couple drinks before you eat dinner. A TV is also positioned at the bar to catch some sports or news. I like knowing that when I go out to eat dinner I can still catch some sports on TV. Good move Ooka!

I enjoyed the saki sangria very much and my wife did too. Our calamari and tuna appetizer was great and our main courses were delicious. We had the steak and three rolls. I wish I could remember the roll names because I would recommend them, sorry! If you like sushi you have to try this place out. The service was surprisingly great! Usually good service is hard to come by in a brand new restaurant, but my wife and I enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. I can't think of anything else to say besides thank you Ooka for showing us a great time!
