I have consulted with Kristine Jones and The KJ Law Firm, LLC regarding Alabama law and several other legal issues, including statutes that govern family and marriage, divorce, child custody and support, alimony, and estate planning.

Kristine is meticulous with details. She clarified legal jargon and concepts for me, including the meaning of the terms "of counsel" and "equitable distribution of property," the role of a Guardian Ad Litem, the difference between arbitration and mediation, and the importance of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) designation with the Office of the Alabama Secretary of State.

She also cleared up my confusion over the jurisdiction of Federal courts located in Alabama (United States District Courts) and procedural issues related to the Montgomery County Small Claims Court.
