Montgomery Parks Maintenance s responsibility is to keep the parks and recreational areas of the city of Montgomery in the state of Alabama in good condition. It is a part of the Montgomery Department of Recreation, which provides building operation and maintenance services for the city s armory building, therapeutic center, tennis courts, and softball and baseball fields. Montgomery Parks Maintenance also maintains Pete Peterson Lodge at Lagoon Park and rooms at community centers throughout the city. The department also maintains picnic shelters at a range of city parks throughout Montgomery.
