GF bought a car from them, made all the payments and now they won't send the title. Dodging phone calls or they say they will send it soon or they already sent it. This has been going on for 3 months now. Not a good way to do business chip.....

I got a car from there and the next day it broke down. I had it for 2 moths its been in the shop the whole time. Now they want me to pay for tore up car. This is the worst car dealer I have every deal with. Don't go there if you want to ride.

Hey I have personal dealings with this company. I Bought a Jeep from them 6 months ago and it is still going and I have never HAD A PROBLEM with it. I even got behind in my payments and Amber helped me out with a payment plan. These people are great people they help you out when you need it and no one else will. I guess that is why Chip Ellis has been selling cars for 30 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well end rant i just don't like to see people bad mouth good people.

We got a suv from them never been behind they took our suv because of no insurance we get it and they still wont give it to us. They want us to pay 300 repo fee plus the truck note this month and will not work with us amber is very rude and now they want us to pay 50 to get r things. Dont ever go to them

I personally know the people that work there and they are def not the things that other reviews are saying. I came in with a very small deposit and they took a chance on me. My credit was even bad. I now have a car that gets me back and forth to work and school. I am very thankful for Chip Ellis and would recommend them to ANYONE!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from Ellis Motorcars of Montgomery, Alabama. These people are crooks. They steal money and scam customers out of their hard earned dollars. Amber is a liar and has no business ethics whatsoever. The staff in Montgomery have no idea about selling cars or customer service. No matter what your financial situation is, do NOT spend your money with these crooks.

Stay far away from this hellish place.It's ran by drunks and illegals,the guy in charge never remembers anything and appears drunk and out of it When ever i would come in.They duck your phone calls and will repo your car without an explanation even if you are on time with payments.The owner of the place is no where to be found and the idiots who are there are pathetic.The day I purchased a vehicle and took it home the dang battery was already dead and it took them a long time to assist me.Please do not come here or you will be ripped off.

This is the most unreliable business I have ever dealt with. They took my $3000 deposit in February and have now had the vehicle I am supposed to be purchasining for two months. They gave me a loaner in March that ran for about two weeks, took it for repair and I have not heard a word since. They refuse to return my money and are apparently unable to fix the vehicle my husband so desperately wants. I was purchasing it for him for Valentines Day, or His March birthday, and now looks like for Father's Day. PATHETIC. They don't return calls, dodge you, and work through the owner, who is located God knows where, via phone. BAD BUSINESS!
