Sunrise School provides education to students with learning disabilities. It offers hearing support and interpretive services through the use of augmentative devices and oral and written language. The school also provides speech and language therapy services through specially designed instructions. Sunrise School offers students full-time nursing services that include tube feeding, catheterization, tracheostomy care, and oxygen and suction administration. The school also provides vocational training services in the areas of product assembly, addressing, bulk mailing, packaging and bagging. Sunrise School is a part of the Special Education Division of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, a nonprofit branch of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The school is located in Monroeville, Pa.
