Provided by YP.comToday (4/22/19), was my Spring checkup on my A/C unit and furnace in my crawlspace, under the Maintenance contract. Ethan responded promptly on this service call. Ethan handled everything in a professional, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous manner, assuring me of no concerns with my units. I highly recommend Snellville Heating, Air and Plumbing to other customers. Ethan deserves a special thanks, he is a real asset to this company!

Provided by YP.comMy upstairs unit was installed by Snellville Heating and Air three years ago when my home was being built. The unit was manufactured by Lennox and has a 5 year parts warranty. The unit had a piece that broke off that was under warranty and Snellville did not back up the warranty by Lennox and required a 263.00 labor cost to repair it along with a 78.00 initial service call. When I called and spoke with Olivia she was extremely rude and offered a 50.00 break off of the 263.00. This is a family owned business that was not willing to stand behind what they sell and absorb the cost of the labor. If this had happened with a car the dealership always absorbs the labor. If I had any other choice I would not use them to service my unit. Unfortunately, they sold it, installed it and now does not stand behind it. I unfortunately could never recommend this company. This is the first negative review that I have ever felt inclined to write so you can only imagine how I was treated. Run, don't walk away from this rude company.

Provided by YP.comNo star rating is what we would give. We called them because they installed the ac unit originally. When we called the office staff informed us that we were still under warranty by 4 days. So we had them come out for a service call. Tech came and told us it was the compressor. Well we thought we had no worries thanks to it still being under warranty. The tech then called the office and they told him that our warranty ran out 05/02/2011. That is was installed 05/02/06. We told him that we never would have called for a service call if we had known the warranty was out. We would have used our friends business. He couldn't explain why we were told that, but told us to call the office. So we did and they refferred us to the owners. The owner called us back and then told us that our unit was installed in 2005 and not 2006. He couldn't explain where is office staff got their information from. He was short and rude and didn't care to answer our questions. It seems to me that they only wanted to make money and not be honest. And for so interesting info, their quote was double the other techs and they wanted us to put in a new unit instead of replace the compressor.
This company is based on liars. No one their tells the same information and the owner we spoke to is rude. Please use another company and DO NOT even waste your time and money with them.

Provided by YP.comI had a very unpleasant experience with Snellville Heating and Air. One day during a terrible heat wave, I came home to a burning hot house. The following morning I called Snellville Heating and Air to come out for an assessment. The gentleman who came out (Doug) explained to me that unfortunately our compressor was broken and that the part would have to be ordered because they did not have one in stock. Their secretary explained that the compressor would take 3 to 5 business days to come in. The part was ordered on Wednesday. My roommates and I had to find other living arrangements for an entire week. They never called to let me know that the compressor came in. I called Tuesday as a follow up, and was told that they had not heard from their vendor yet. “They would call me as soon as they heard something.” Wednesday morning I received a phone call confirming the part had come in and we set up an appointment for it to be installed. I was ecstatic! A different technician (Jonathan) promptly came to our house. He told me that the job would take about an hour. 45 minutes later I received a call from him explaining that he had some bad news: Our compressor wasn’t broken after all. He was able to fix our compressor in 25 minutes with the materials and tools that he had in his truck. The first technician had not thoroughly checked our compressor. My roommates and I were out of our house for a week. I spoke to David, the VP of Snellville Heating and Air, and was disappointed with his reaction. He was very short. He would not discuss compensation for our rent. He said that everyone is human and we all make mistakes and told me to have a great day. I would never recommend Snellville Heating and Air to anyone due to poor customer service and my horrible experience.
