Dr. William J. Witcik was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from North Dakota State University. He received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota in 1986. In 1989, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
