The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department provides a variety of programs and facilities. Located in Modesto, Calif., the department s park division maintains more than 500 acres of parkland, over 400 acres of turf, wading pools, tennis courts, ball fields and picnic sites. Its cultural and enterprise services division maintains a baseball stadium, the McHenry Mansion, McHenry Museum and golf courses. The department's parks planning and maintenance services division ensures the development of the park and trail system. Its administration division provides technical support for budget preparation and management,as well as assistance to managers for monitoring and reporting meaningful and measurable program outcomes. The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department offers recreational services, as well as aquatic and other sports activities for youths and adults.
