My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at China Ocean Super Buffet tonight. I was pleased at the freshness of the peel and eat shrimp, which is seldom this fresh at other places. I am a discriminating lover of Asian food and I thoroughly enjoyed the amazingly good Sesame chicken and the Lo Mein is some of the best I have ever had anywhere! The shrimp rolls were small but flavorful, and the variety of offerings was good. Unfortunately replenishment of the buffet waned a bit earlier than I expected and I would have prefered better replenishment until closing time. The soups were perhaps the least excellent element of the food and should have had more zip as I had to pepper and soy sauce it extensively for any flavor to be present. While soups are usually a keen barometer of the talent of the cook/chef we were pleased by many of the available selections. The one element of the buffet which was not present was Asian potatoes which at our restaurant back home are cooked with bacon and garlic butter. A spicy shrimp dish such as Kung Pao Shrimp was also missing from the variety of fare. Overall our experience was a positive one and we reccommend the dinner buffet which was reasonably priced. While the crowd was slight at the restaurant close to closing we would have preferred that vaccuuming be delayed until all guests had departed and this was not the case--so go to eat early on in the evening for the best service at dinnertime!

This is one of our favorites and we eat at China Ocean Super Buffet regularly -- the food is perfect! They have a great atmosphere, friendly service and outstanding food.
