My husband and I used this Pep Boys location in Tillman's Corner, AL. We were a little skeptical at first because of other reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway. We showed up on New Year's Eve for four new tires. We were helped promptly, efficiently, and with a smile. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and knnowledgeable. All of the workers who came to the front desk were polite and had good rapport with customers and each other. We decided to leave the truck for the tire installation since they said servce would take about an hour and 45 minutes. We got a call saying it was ready a little over an hour later. Needless to say, this was a great experience. Because of this location, I will continue to use Pep Boys in the future.

I spent a few hundred dollars to have some seals replaced for an oil leak and was sent home. Several months later I have an oil leak again and take it back in only to be charged more than 500 dollars to fix, among other things they said were the cause of the leak, a valve cover gasket. TWO MONTHS later my car is completely empty of oil. Now they tell me that its, again among other things, the engine cover and all of the "pandora's box" underneath it that they "can't confirm without taking the engine cover off first." The manager told me that I could either spend "$3000 dollars" to have "all the possible leaks" fixed or I could chalk it up to my car being old (it's a 2000 Honda) and "just add a quart of oil every week or so." I have paid them twice to fix my oil leak only to still have a very bad leak. I have been refused an 80 dollar refund (out of more than 500) for the replaced valve cover gasket that did not fix my leak.

This Pep Boys run a Budget Truck Rental from this location. We booked a truck online through Budget on Jan.11/14 for use today to move. Got there, no trucks and the guy was rude and useless. DO NOT RENT A TRUCK FROM THESE CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give zero stars!
